How do I prepare textbooks?

Accepted Answer

The textbook depends on the class you are subscribing to. Your teacher will notify you in advance before the class starts. You can prepare the necessary textbooks at the bookstores or on Internet. In the case of classes conducted by hand-out textbooks, the data will be sent to the registered email before class. You can print it and participate in the class. * However, eTutor On the Go will not be responsible for the exchange or refund of the textbooks you have already purchased if you change or refund classes after purchasing them.

Later, we will update that you can purchase the textbook with the registration on the eTutor On the GO website.
 
교재는 구독중인 수업에 따라 달라집니다. 교재가 필요할 경우 수업 시작 전 선생님께서 미리 공지합니다. 필요한 교재는 시중 서점 및 인터넷 서점에서 준비하면 됩니다. 핸드아웃으로 진행되는 수업의 경우 수업 전 등록된 이메일로 자료가 발송되오니 해당 자료를 인쇄하여 수업에 참여하시면 됩니다. * 단, 교재 구입 후 수업을 변경하거나 환불을 할 경우 이미 구입하신 교재의 교환 및 환불은 eTutor On the Go에서 책임지지 않습니다.
 
추후 eTutor On the GO 홈페이지에서 수강신청과 함께 교재 구매가 가능하도록 업데이트 할 예정입니다.

What are the preparations for the class?

Accepted Answer

Online classes require video callable devices such as laptops, PCs, tablets with built-in cameras and microphones are essential.
The requested textbooks may vary depending on the subject.
Depending on your subject and access environment, there may be programs that need to be preinstalled. (Google classroom, Google Meet, Zoom etc.)
 
온라인으로 진행되는 수업으로 카메라 및 마이크가 내장된 노트북, 카메라 및 마이크가 설치 된 PC, 태블릿 등 영상통화 가능한 기기가 필수적 입니다.
과목에 따라 요청되는 교재가 상이할 수 있습니다.
과목 및 접속 환경 따라 사전 설치 필요한 프로그램이 있을 수 있습니다. (Google classroom, Google Meet, Zoom 등)

I want to change the class time.

Accepted Answer

You can change the class time 24 hours before the class start. (For example, If you have a class on January 2nd at 10 a.m, you must contact the manager by January 1st at 10 a.m.)

If you contact during the class time, or after class reservation time, you cannot change the schedule and the number of classes will be deducted.

You can change the class time only when the class is not closed, and if you want to change the entire day of the schedule, you can do it after discussing with your tutor.

Can I register in the middle?

It is possible. All classes offered by eTutor On the GO can be registered at any time because the number of class days is calculated based on the date the student enrolls.

Can I take a trial class in advance?

For Korean classes, 30 minutes of free orientation class is provided after subscription.
There are no free classes for other subjects.
We will update when free classes are given according to the promotion.
 
한국어 수업의 경우, 등록 후 30분 OT 무료 강의가 제공됩니다.
그 외의 과목은 무료로 제공되는 강의가 없습니다.
원하실 경우, 기존 진행중인 수업에 대한 참관은 가능합니다.
추후 프로모션에 따라 무료 강의가 발생하면 업데이트할 예정입니다.

What happens if I can't take a class due to a faulty internet connection?

Please contact the manager immediately if the problem occurs. Classes that have not been conducted due to technical problems are not deducted from the number of classes, and the classes can be rescheduled with your tutor.
 
해당 문제 발생 시 관리자에게 즉시 연락 주세요. 기술상 문제로 진행되지 못한 수업은 횟수에서 차감되지 않으며, 해당 강의는 선생님과 리스케줄 후 수업 가능합니다.

Changing or canceling the class time is possible up to 24 hours before the original class start time.
E.g.) If you have a class at 10 a.m. on January 2nd, you can contact the administrator by 10 a.m. on January 1st.

If you contact us 24 hours before the class starts ~ during class hours or after the scheduled time, you will not be able to reschedule and the number of classes will be deducted. 
 
You can change the class time to a time that is not booked yet. If you want to change the entire class schedule, you can discuss rescheduling with the tutor.

If you request a refund due to cancellation of registration after paying tuition fees (credit card, Venmo, e-Transfer, account transfer, etc.), *a refund fee of $25 will be charged per payment. The final refund amount is calculated by calculating the number of classes remaining after deducting the refund fee from the existing tuition fee. Therefore, the refund may be smaller or less than the tuition fee paid.

However, if the registration is canceled due to the inability to teach or provide content at eTutor On the GO, the refund fee will not be charged and will be refunded after calculating the number of classes remaining.

*Refund fees may be incurred even if the class is not held more than once after payment of the tuition fee.​

2. No extension of re-registration
 
​Please contact the administrator 48 hours before the upcoming payment date to unsubscribe for classes that are renewed every month(4 weeks). We will help you not to make additional payments after the cancellation.

eTutor On the GO does not provide tutors' personal contact information. You can ask 1:1 inqury through Google Classroom. If it is difficult to contact your tutor through Google Classroom, please contact the contact number of eTutor On the GO at the bottom.

eTutor On the GO is an online-based knowledge sharing platform and does not provide offline classes. If offline classes are opened later, we will notify you on the website. Plrease bear with us.

What standard is the exchange rate applied to paying tuition in Korean won?

If you pay with a card issued in Korea, the exchange rate will vary depending on the timing of the credit card company's purchase.

If you make a payment in Korean won through deposit without bankbook or an account transfer, the exchange rate on the day before the invoice issue date will be applied.
 
한국에서 발행된 카드로 결제 할 경우 환율은 카드사의 매입 시기에 따라 상이합니다.
 
원화로 무통장 입금, 계좌이체 등을 통해 결제하시는 경우 인보이스 발행일 전날의 고시 환율이 적용됩니다.
